    Zodia Custody is a FCA, CBI and CSSF registered Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP), offering Digital Asset Custody services to Institutional Investors. Zodia Custody is a Venture backed by Standard Chartered Bank, Northern Trust and SBI Digital Asset Holdings based in the UK, Europe, Hong Kong, Australia, Singapore and Japan.

    The Director of European Sales will report directly to CEO of Europe. They will be responsible for sales, partnerships, and any commercial activity that furthers the growth of Zodia Custody and our Zodia Gateway ecosystem. The role will require the candidate to have existing cryptonative and tradfi networks, ideally with broad relationships across both cohorts. On the cryptonative side, those relationships should include firms already holding significant assets, for example: foundations/protocols, asset managers, hedge funds, venture capital firms. On the tradfi side, relationships should include those either already holding or planning a migration towards digital assets, for example: wealth managers, multi-family offices, private banks, commercial banks.

    The candidate should understand the business models of every type of company in each of those cohorts. The candidate will be part of a lean team responsible for developing the Zodia Custody brand and business throughout Europe (ex-UK). It is a role of substantial responsibility that will be commensurately rewarded via both fixed and generous variable compensation. A willingness to travel will be a crucial element of the candidate's mandate, as well as an ability to communicate and interact multi-lingually. The candidate should already be based in Continental Europe.

    You will be given personalised bilateral training and education on the Zodia Custody competitive advantage, value proposition, service offering, and tech stack. You will have permanent and direct access to the Zodia's European CEO with whom you will work closely and on a daily basis. You will be constantly encouraged to provide your ideas and those ideas will contribute to the evolution of Zodia Custody's European strategic roadmap.

    Switzerland based preferred but could be based anywhere in Europe.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 3 years TradFi experience – ideally with a mid-sized asset manager
    • Minimum of 1 year Crypto-Native experience
    • Full understanding of the business model of various traditional financial services and crypto native market participants.
    • Multilingual – ideally speaking French, German, English (others are a plus)
    • Already based in Europe
    • Willingness to travel extensively
    • Intellectually curious, positive disposition, creative thinker
