    As the premier supplier to our client, a leading commodities company based in Switzerland, Swisslinx is looking for a highly motivated individual to take on a challenging role as a Business Objects Developer for a permanent role onsite 4 days a week.

    Our client is looking for someone with 1-2 years' experience (NOT Senior) who has a proactive attitude, willingness to learn and a team player.

    This role would join a team of 4 specifically focused on data visualization.


    Key responsibilities:

    • Definition, Design and development of BO Universes and Reports (WebI, Crystal and Dashboards)
    • Working with internal stakeholders to elicit requirements and delivering effective technical solutions
    • Assisting in the administration of the BO system, repository, and security model, as well as patching and upgrades.
    • Providing support to endusers and other BO development teams.

    Your background:

    • Ideally has 12 years of experience with Business Objects 4.x architecture and its product components. However, a strong willingness to learn and a proactive attitude can compensate for less experience. fluency in English (corporate language), both spoken and written.
    • Demonstrates excellent communication skills, a customer service mentality, and a handson, cando attitude with a proven track record.
    • Possesses a good understanding of Oracle and SQL query writing skills for data analysis/extraction.

    • Is a collaborative team player who takes ownership of tasks independently.
    • Is open to sharing ideas and engaging in dialog to discover pragmatic solutions.
    • Has experience with or is willing to learn other tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Qlik, enhancing our team's diversity in skills and perspectives.
