- Providing initial and ongoing treatment of injuries and illness of personnel on site including assisting with injury management and rehabilitation
- Operation of the Site's ambulances including the management and transportation of injured personnel
- Developing and maintaining treatment procedures, protocols and accident/incident databases;
- Liaising with local medical service providers, hospitals, RFDS and ambulance service
- Provide skills maintenance training to Emergency Response Team members
- Conducting drug and alcohol testing as required
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, Immunisation Certificate and HLTPAT005 Drugs of Abuse Testing
- Current & Valid C class manual Driver's Licence
- Previous experience working in emergency or in a remote area nursing role
- A working knowledge of Injury Management and Rehabilitation practices and procedures
- Ability to work autonomously to align with site medical guidelines
- Approved Audiometric Officers Certificate and the ability to conduct spirometry testing (Desirable)
