You will be enrolled in a PhD program of the Graduate Program in Economics and Finance (possible specializations are economics, econometrics and finance) under the doctoral supervision ofProf. Dr. Matthias Weber.
You will conduct rigorous research in one of the following topic areas:
1. Machine learning in taxation
2. Understanding preferences on taxation
3. Decision theory and behavioral finance
Most of your time will be spent on conducting academic research. To a lesser extent, you will assist in teaching activities and engage in outreach activities to make a bridge from academic research to applications.
