**Your responsibility

  • Support the Head M&A in the further development and implementation of the M&A strategy
  • Manage M&A projects from identification of targets to execution of transactions (due diligence, contract negotiation and integration)
  • Assess potential acquisition targets (life and nonlife sector as well as noninsurance businesses)
  • Build business plans & valuation models for insurance companies, portfolios (life and nonlife) and noninsurance businesses
  • Prepare presentations for the M&A Steering Committee, the Executive Board and the Board of Directors
  • Interact with internal deal teams (including Group functions and market units) and advisors (IBs, attorneys, consultants)
  • Participate in the development and implementation of the Group strategy
  • Actively support the implementation of special Group projects
**Your qualification

  • University degree, preferably in Economics, Business Administration or Finance, additional qualifications are a plus.
  • At least three years of relevant professional experience in M&A, preferably in the insurance industry, with a Big Four company, an investment bank or within a corporate context
  • Proven knowledge in finance and valuation of (insurance) companies
  • Interest in and experience with strategic topics of an insurance group
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • English and German are required, further language skills (Spanish, French, Italian) are an advantage
