PhD Student and Research Associate in Economics, Finance or Management (M/F/d):

between 01 April and 31 July 2023

Location:
flexible with some presence in St. Gallen to complete PhD courses

Your profile:

This PhD position is suitable for individuals that are driven, eager to complete a dissertation in less than three years, pay strong attention to details, and want to work on a research project with direct relevance to business, economics, and finance.

We are looking for a reliable self-starter who can work collaboratively in a team environment and has a strong interdisciplinary orientation.

An outstanding master's degree in Economics, Finance, Political Science, Management or a related field from a leading university or business school is required.

Previous project management experience is key to moving the PhD project forward and to guiding the research team.

The Swiss Institute for International Economics and Applied Economic Research:
The SIAW has been founded in 1943.

Since this time, issues related to the international economic order and economic policies have been a traditional focus of our institute's activities.

Work at the institute is directed toward developing the methodological basis for policy advice, leading to policy recommendations in selected areas.

Professor Evenett is one of the institute's directors and his research focuses on international trade and the intersection of business and economics.
