    UNICEF's Division of Private Fundraising and Partnerships (PFP) works with the private sector through UNICEF National Committees, country offices and HQ divisions to expand strategic engagement with the private sector and advocate for child rights. As UNICEF shifts into a more agile organization able to deliver on ambitious targets defined in its Strategic Plan , PFP is strengthening its Knowledge Management (KM) function by sustaining foundational KM work while implementing more strategic, synergistic and coherent KM priorities as defined in its updated KM Strategy

    The KM Consultant will help in implementing KM initiatives and priorities in PFP, and will also contribute to the global work of PFP when it comes to developing KM in UNICEF as a whole.

    Scope of Work:

    This role will support the PFP's Knowledge Management function in:

    • Developing a KM Booster Package for PFP and for markets;
    • Helping manage the Virtual Skill Share (VSS) Academy sessions;
    • Rolling out a streamlined KM capacity building (CB) set of resources
    • Managing the Knowledge Exchange Platform (KEP).

    To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have:

    Education:

    • First-level university degree (Bachelors degree or higher) in knowledge management, business management, international studies, adult education or any other relevant field of discipline.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of three years progressive experience in the following fields: knowledge management, learning, production of knowledge products, or relevant areas is required.
    • Experience creating and editing SharePoint pages and a good understanding of UNICEF's digital workspace is required. – Experience in organizing knowledge sharing events is required.
    • Experience in documenting cases/experiences/lessons learned is required. – Experience in developing or implementing capacity-building activities/events/projects would be an asset.
    • Working experience within UNICEF or other UN entities, familiarity with the work of UNICEF National Committees and/or private sector fundraising would be an asset.

    Language:

    • Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language is an asset.
