- You will contribute to create a Container-based Platform to offer as a service to our customers and partners;
- You continuously learn, prototype, and assess innovative technologies to improve our Offering;
- You will participate in improving our virtualization platform by adding new features and modules;
- You help as part of our cloud platform team to bring our cloud offering to the next level;
- You deliver as a cloud engineer high-quality solutions from inception to production, focusing on reliability, automation, maintainability, and security;
- Onboarding of new applications and helping corresponding project and application teams to implement and operate their applications efficiently and with highly automated processes for deployment, change and lifecycle management and monitoring;
- You collaborate with internal and external partners, e.g., project teams, external vendors & suppliers;
- You ensure that technical documentation is available and participate to operational continuous improvements;
- You are involved in the incident, change & problem management process.
- Previous experience on VMware products;
- You have proven experience and knowledge on implementing and operating container-based applications on Kubernetes;
- 5+ years of experience with the deployment, maintenance, administration and troubleshooting of Linux server operating systems;
- Understanding of networking, database, storage, and virtualization systems and technologies;
- You have an agile mindset; you are an advocate for IaC and DevOps methodology, have worked with DevOps toolchain. This includes infrastructure as code, artefact management, and CI/CD pipeline;
- You are a technology and open-source enthusiast and are enjoying to continuously explore and learn new cloud native solutions;
- You are fluent in Italian and English;
- You are a team player with an enthusiastic, positive, 'can do' attitude;
- You have good communication skills and ability to interface effectively with Clients;
- Your are passionate about doing an outstanding job and attentive to details;
- You are able to work collaboratively under deadlines and shifting priorities.
