- Developing and executing the preparation, planning, and delivering of child-centered learning activities
- Using a range and balance of teaching strategies
- Being a facilitator in the classroom and taking interactive role with students
- Evaluate and assess student progress through ongoing observation, providing constructive feedback
- Participate in school training sessions and parent-teacher meetings.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where every child feels respected and valued
- Ensuring the classroom environment is well-managed, properly ordered and neatly presented
- To comply with safeguarding policies, procedures, and code of conduct
- To demonstrate a personal commitment to safeguarding and student/colleague wellbeing
- To engage in safeguarding training when required
- Act as a safe point of contact for students who may need to discuss issues of safety or wellbeing.
- Valid teaching certification for primary education
- Bachelor's degree in education or any related field.
- Possess highly developed interpersonal and communication skills both orally and written English and
- Good references on request
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Several years of experience teaching in Primary school environment
- Experience and understanding of the PYP framework are preferred but not essential
