- Support efforts to transition development initiatives to feasible and scalable manufacturing solutions; ensuring seamless integration into manufacturing processes based on product requirement specifications in close collaboration with product engineering, supply chain, and the manufacturing team
- Provide feedback on design aspects and facilitate FMEA exercises for new or existing product lines; manage the implementation of engineering changes
- Develop, implement, and maintain methods, operation sequences, and fabrication processes for parts, components, and assemblies to ensure safety, product quality, manufacturability and enhance efficiency
- In collaboration with the supply chain function, review technical documentation, evaluation of materials, tooling and test equipment
- Evaluate, troubleshoot, and resolve production yield and quality issues, and investigate issues using a systematic approach to root cause and corrective actions
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Optical Engineering or related discipline
- Manufacturing Engineer 3+ years' experience in consumer electronics, automotive electro-mechanical and electronic components/systems, aerospace electromechanical and electronics systems or medical device electro-mechanical and electronic components
- Fluent in German
- Demonstrated knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and tools resulting in efficiency and production gains
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and Geometric Dimensional and tolerances (GD&T)
- Ability to automate standard data analysis using programming languages
