Join our team on our OneBirr Manufacturing Site as the Manager Manufacturing Engineering (Hot Gas Parts).


Role Summary / Purpose


For our Manufacturing Engineering department in the area of
Hot Gas Parts, we are looking for a qualified engineering manager (M/F/d).

The
Manager Manufacturing Engineering HGP reports to Manufacturing Engineering Department Manager for OneBirr Manufacturing.

In his/her responsibility, he/she ensures that the necessary technical documentation, equipment, and tools for production of hot gas parts are available on time and on quality.


Essential Responsibilities

  • Lead the manufacturing engineering team for hot gas parts
  • Ensure that work is performed in terms of safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and regulatory compliance
  • Ensuring a timely production start on the machines
  • Ensuring that the entire team lives the LEAN culture, engage in KAIZEN personally as well as with the team
  • Planning, coordination and monitoring of development and improvement projects as well as introduction of new products
  • Lead Capex budgeting and execution for HGP projects
  • Monitoring of newly introduced technologies in production
  • Implementation of risk (FMEA) and cost benefit analysis for every new development and process optimization
  • Support in NCR processing together with the Quality Team and Production
  • Ensure an open reporting culture
  • Clear communication to key customer / business priorities to employees
  • Generation and implementation of the budget for the current year
  • Crossdivisional collaboration to ensure and meet the requirements
  • Act as a coach to promote and develop employees

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Master's degree in mechanical engineering with a focus on manufacturing, gas turbine parts engineering or similar
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification is an advantage
