- Scoping, design, management, and compliance of electrical projects within time and budget (in line with relevant site and Australian standards).
- Effective tendering, procurement, and management of project sub-contractors.
- Ensuring project close-out documentation is completed within the relevant timeframe.
- Provide regular and accurate project reporting and financial tracking to your supervisor.
- Forward planning and development of pre-emptive strategies to ensure minimal downtime, unplanned shutdowns and maximise plant availability for any design / project work.
- Completion and reporting on planned and ad-hoc safety inspections and audits.
- Providing technical support to operations and maintenance departments (including supervision assistance during shut-downs and maintenance budget planning assistance).
- Mentoring of junior and graduate engineers.
- Maintain weekly project reporting meetings with your supervisor.
- Required - Degree Qualified Engineering (Electrical)
- Experience in electrical and high voltage design.
- Experience in managing projects of a complex and multi-disciplinary engineering nature.
- Experience in contract and construction management, including knowledge of the requirements of various Australian Standards related to delivery of the projects is desirable but not essential.
- Knowledge of risk management, safety systems and legislative requirements for minerals processing
- Experience in AutoCAD, PowerCAD and PTW.
