Job Summary
As an
Associate International Account Manager (internally also known as
Mining Finance Debt Originator ) for Cat Mining Finance, you will provide professional financial services representation to Caterpillar Dealers, Caterpillar Business Units, and assigned mining & multi-national accounts.
Your role will be to develop, solicit and originate, equipment finance transactions for Caterpillar products and services for specific assigned accounts.
What You Will Do:
- Originate, structure, and negotiate terms, conditions, fees, and rates with customers; and review specific country issues relating to taxes, collateral security, legal rights, currency risk as well as political and economic data.
- Provide input for credit requests and recommend credit approvals for proposed financial transactions.
- Understand and negotiate complex legal documents confidentiality agreements, loan agreements, prepare financial proposals and financial commitment letters.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships both internally with portfolio management, and equipment sales team and externally with Caterpillar dealers, customers, and partners (advisors, banks, funds).
What You Will Have:
- University degree or equivalent
- Relevant experience in credit and/or asset finance
- Sound analytical and financial skills
- Mining and commodity finance knowledge and experience is a plus
- Fluent in written and verbal English, and additional languages are a plus
- Availability and willingness to travel including to developing countries
- Customer focus with problemsolving skills and ability to find creative solutions
- Reliable team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Valid working permit for Switzerland
