About Cat Financial


As a Regional Services Strategy Consultant, you support the Services Go-To-Market Strategy in achieving Superior Results and Profitable Growth goals by providing strategic services financing planning support for Caterpillar parts, service and rebuild growth in targeted global markets.

Supervise strategy development for services financing, including market analysis, business partner strategy alignment, dealer gap analysis, identification and replication of best practices, PSE lead management, assessment of potential Cat Card and Cat Prepaid Credit expansion in target markets and leveraging FPD customer access points to generate services leads for dealers.

Manage Services Go-To-Market Strategy development for a region to ensure focused efforts on Caterpillar parts and service growth and strategic alignment with the respective Caterpillar Divisions (CISD, BCP, GCI, e-Commerce, Power Systems, etc.).

Once services growth strategies are established, coordinate dealer pilots and replication plans with Global Marketing and Line Unit management and sales teams.


What you'll do:

  • Aligns Services Go-ToMarket activities and projects with CISD and Cat Dependency Workstreams. Maintains and enhances relations with CISD and other key business partners. Integrates Services Go-ToMarket strategies with those of FPD. Reviews opportunities for supporting CFAS global expansion and partners with Line Units and business partners to develop business cases for target markets.
  • Coordinates and collaborates with the global Cat Insurance, CVA and Leasing teams to align initiatives and bundle where possible and present a unified Services Go-ToMarket growth strategy to Cat business partners and dealers.
  • Partners with Regional Marketing Managers to transition Services Go-ToMarket strategies and pilot replication opportunities into ongoing standard work that Global Marketing will own and execute.
  • Lead regional teams to drive Services Go-ToMarket workstreams that will provide strategic direction and/or solutions for services growth.
  • Translates Services Go-ToMarket business opportunity analysis findings into specific tactic and strategy recommendations to management.
  • Delivers new services growth strategies via 6 Sigma and other processes for targeted markets.
  • Defines regional strategic marketing plans for pursuing services growth opportunities and communicates these plans for adaptation to and execution at the regional Global Marketing and Line Unit levels including collaboration with Region Marketing Managers to implement new strategies, tactics and programs.
  • Provides Services Go-ToMarket training to regional Cat Financial personnel, dealers and Cat business partners.
  • Partners with Line Unit management and Global Marketing to drive services growth.
  • Participates in accomplishment of continuous improvement objectives for the department. Progress toward accomplishment of these is measured through maintenance of necessary measurements and analysis of associated data. Participates in the identification of problem areas and the development of resolutions to address them.

Requirements:


  • A college or university degree in any discipline and experience in engine (power)related financing is recommended. Equivalent experience may be substituted for education.
  • Previous experience in 6 Sigma a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and supervise the work of others.
  • Proven ability to energetically follow a plan to achieve the targets.
  • Proven ability to manage, develop and motivate staff.
  • Proven ability to adapt communicational style to other working groups, customers and stakeholders.
  • Crossdivisional and crosscultural understanding and adequate working style to accommodate any differences.
  • Thorough knowledge of Services Go-ToMarket, CFAS and CISD business units and their respective marketing strategies.
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple complex projects simultaneously, frequently with team members located in different locations and time zones.
