Pictet Asset Services (PAS) provides custody, fund services and trading solutions for external asset managers, fund managers and institutional clients.

You will part of the PAS Risk and Compliance teams ("R&C") which are responsible for investment risk and asset management oversight, risk and business compliance for all our B2B clients.

In this role you will report directly to the PAS Chief Risk Officer and manage the business line's cross-functional projects concerning risk, compliance and regulatory topics.

PAS Chief Risk Officer support:


  • Supporting definition and coordinating implementation of the PAS Risk & Compliance Team strategic project plan with PAS or group stakeholders.
  • Assisting with the needs of senior management for project governance, risk analysis and decisionmaking.

PAS Risk and Compliance projects:


  • Managing and coordinating several projects that have a strong impact on PAS.
  • Giving regular presentations to the PAS Executive Committee or other strategic committees to validate PAS's decisions.
  • Defining and presenting projects' recommendations.
  • Structuring problems and assessing available options and implementing defined solutions.
  • Acting as the point of contact for key stakeholders (Front and Middle office, Risk teams at business line and Group level, IT and external providers), nurturing relationships to ensure a high level of buyin and challenging expectations (i.e. a crossfunctional approach in terms of business models, locations and regulatory environments).
  • Challenging and anticipating R&C/regulatory needs, information and constraints pertaining to the business line's scope of activities.

PAS Risk and Compliance team support:

  • Performing quantitative or qualitative analysis in collaboration with the PAS Data team and PAS Heads of Risk & Compliance as well as Investment Risk& Investment Management Oversight.
  • Overseeing, anticipating and escalating issues and risks identified and advising on mitigation proposals.

Regulatory watch:


  • Prepare and present regulatory watch report for PAS Executive Committee (i.e. update on most impacting regulations and related projects)
  • Prepare and present regulatory watch session for PAS Client Relationship Mangers (i.e. training)
  • Prepare and present regulatory watch report for PAS Clients
Description du profil
University degree or equivalent.
Experience (7 years) in a consulting firm or in the banking sector, especially asset services.
Strong interest in and in-depth knowledge of the financial sector and regulatory environment.
Excellent command of French and English (both written and spoken)
Successful track record of managing complex, high-risk and strategic projects (an asset)
Strong analytical mindset, planning skills and efficient time management.
Outstanding communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
Appetite for interdisciplinary work and at ease working in a team.
Able to display strong leadership skills and mobilise project teams, including change management capacities.
