- Assisting Captain/Steersman
- Wheelhouse duty, and working on the deck
- Safe working during deck work and manoeuvres
- Assisting/executing safety and security protocols
- Good command of German and/or English language
- River Service book with Rhine Sailor qualification
- Minimum 2 years of experience on a similar position
- Certificates for "Breathing Device Operator" and "First Aid" are a benefit
