Internship Opportunity at Médecins Sans Frontières Suisse

This internship is part of an academic or professional training program and must meet the conditions set by the Conseil de surveillance du marché de l'emploi (CSME).

Context & Mission

Médecins Sans Frontières is an international medical and humanitarian organization that provides care to those in need, regardless of race, religion, or political affiliation. To cover the Swiss market, we have offices in Geneva and Zurich, with the Philanthropy Unit being a key part of our Communication & Fundraising Department.

The Philanthropy Unit raised over CHF 70 million last year, supporting our life-saving mission through funding from individuals, foundations, companies, and cantons/communes.

Research Intern Responsibilities

Conduct prospect research on major donors
Establish donor profiles and priorities
Ensure compliance with gift acceptance policy
Collaborate on data analysis
Provide system support
Contribute to team projects as needed

Profile Requirements

Tripartite internship agreement
Strong research and writing skills
Understanding of Swiss social and economic landscape
Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and data analysis
Currently pursuing a university degree
Previous internship experience is advantageous
Fluency in English, good knowledge of French and German

Terms of Employment

6 to 12-month internship
Full-time position based in Geneva
Start date: August 2nd, 2024
Gross monthly remuneration 2'000.- CHF
