- Scientific resource within the department and on cross functional teams supporting and driving continuous product and process improvements, validations, and investigations.
- Develop experimental design, perform experiments, compile and analyze data, write summary reports, prepare presentation and present information with conclusions and recommendations to team and stake holders.
- Active presence in manufacturing to identify areas of improvement and initiate changes to streamline and simplify processes.
- Lead/support in creating/revising SOPs, batch records and test protocols. Provide training to manufacturing techs and other departments as appropriate.
- Maintain high quality standards for all products and processes. Support/lead validations, establish vendor and product specifications, maintain Standard Process Controls for key products and processes.
- Lead investigations and manage projects to meet established milestones and deadline.
- Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Chemical Engineering, with 4-6 years of industry experience
- Or, Masters in Science in Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Chemical Engineering, with 2-4 years of industry experience
- Molecular biology, biochemistry science laboratory experience.
- Biotech manufacturing experience a plus
- User knowledge of standard laboratory equipment
- Experience in creating/revising SOPs, developing test methods, performing/leading validations and implementing new/improved processes.
- Knowledge of quality standards and systems
- Statical analyses knowledge
- Ability to work in fast pace continuously changing environment.
