Position description:


Planning is one of the critical foundational pillars identified by JnJ Supply Chain strategy that is essential to building the world's best supply chain.

Planning forms a pivotal role in the synchronization of our E2E Supply Chain to meet our customer demands efficiently and effectively as well as improving our cashflow through optimizing our working Capital.

At the same time, we need to ensure that we are anticipating the future trends and disrupters and building capabilities to leverage and take advantage of these being agile enough to ensure we adapt and use this as a competitive advantage.


As a member of the EMEA Global Plan Excellence (GPEx) team, the BPO Demand Planning & IBP owns the regional DP processes and has the responsibility to grow and sustain DP capabilities in markets whilst always ensuring adherence to the core fundamental processes.

The BPO will also lead the strategic DP agenda by designing, implementing and governing introduction of new processes or tools, to improve current practices or to induce breakthrough changes to the demand & business management activities.

Lastly the BPO DP & IBP will facilitate the deployment and support stabilization of our new Demand Planning solution securing technical reliability while driving the change management agenda within the demand planning community.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Defines and leads initiatives aiming at enhancing the execution of foundational processes whilst reinforcing adherence to standard ways of working
  • Leads innovation and process improvement initiatives to unlock continuous advancements in forecasting performance
  • Support the introduction of advanced DP capabilities within the region (eg demand sensing, multivariate statistical forecasting, process automation, smart reporting, )
  • Facilitates and delivers training on new processes and new system functionalities
  • Chairs the regional Community of Practice: entertain the DP super user network promoting best practice sharing, fostering ideation and identification of improvement areas whilst coordinating regional trainings
  • Collaborates with global BPO to support process harmonization and transition to global tools and planning systems
  • Translates highlevel business requirements into practical solutions which will bring advancements to the DP and IBP maturity levels
  • Partners with regional & global IBP teams to implement and sustain IBP excellence in the EMEA region
  • Strong leader and able to partner and influence the broad demand planning community while fostering collaboration with supply chain and commercial teams
Qualifications

  • University Bachelor's degree or equivalent / MBA preferred

Experience:


  • Generally 7+ years of Supply Chain area experience with proven experience in Demand Planning and Integrated Business Planning.

Knowledge, Skills and capabilities:


  • Deep process and systems knowledge of Demand Planning, IBP and Project Management
  • Resultsorientated, creative, practical, analytical, attention to detail, selfmotivated, and a teamplayer
  • Strong business acumen & understanding of business dynamics incl knowledge of P&L set up within Consumer business.
  • Proactive thinker with ability to see the big picture but being able to debate the details.
  • Ability to influence at all levels within the Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance & other key cross functional partners, in a matrix environment and externally.
  • Excellent written and oral, communication, presentation & facilitation skills. Able to drive alignment or consensus though influencing.
  • Selfstarter, working independently and with mínimal direction
  • Good problem solving skills, establishes positive change

English


Travel Requirements:
up to 20% travel domestically and internationally.
