Medtronic, a pioneer in medical technology, is seeking a Technical Consultant Diabetes responsible for the Ticino region, committed to projects tied to life-saving technologies, such as insulin pump therapies, continuous glucose monitoring systems and therapy management software.


In the role, you will help develop one of Medtronic's strongest growing businesses as, on a daily basis, you will be working with diabetes management solutions and integrated diabetes management systems.


A Day in the Life

  • Combine commercial sales activities with technical support, including trainings, to stakeholders within the diabetes care segment.
  • Provide technical expertise throughout sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation, and maintenance of company products.
  • Showcase groundbreaking technologies in healthcare, including onsite education and consulting.
  • Provide sales personnel with technical data necessary for the demonstration of products.
  • Support establishment and maintenance of customer relations with healthcare professionals and organizations.
  • Acquire, maintain and develop a portfolio of customers, both existent and potentially new ones, within the assigned territory.
  • Identify and develop account potentials, plan account segmentation.

Must Haves

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in the medical, pharmaceutical or hospital industry
  • Fluency in Italian, good understanding of German and English
  • Enthusiasm for combining patient care with commercial development
  • Talent to transfer knowledge to various audiences and education levels
  • Strong communication skills and empathy

Nice to Haves

  • Education in a medical field or nursing
  • Some years of commercial experience
  • Able to translate a commercial vision into practical activities
