Are you the new Purchase Director for DACH our client is looking for based in Zug, Switzerland?

Do you have a strong international commercial background and a proven successful track record of accomplishment in building and delivering a high-level growth strategy in Hotel Hospitality and or in the Online Travel Agency Industry?

Then you could be the new Purchase Director for DACH we are looking for to implement and oversee the hotel portfolio purchase packages growth strategies in DACH (Germany, Austria & Switzerland) and potentially other

countries across Europe. You will together with your team lead from the front the purchase, key account management and expansion of the hotel portfolio

offerings.

You will join a high-performing international team, reporting directly to the CEO and be part of the top management team all working together to grow the business rapidly across Europe.

Tasks

You will in liaison with the CEO and top management be responsible for the company's expansion strategy and delivery.

  • Develop and lead the hotel growth strategy, implementation and delivery country by country
  • Review countries and hotel ROI and KPIs and focus on continuous improvements in order to stay ahead of competition across hotel segments
  • Lead, manage, motivate and develop cross country purchase and key account management teams
  • Manage and deliver hotel roadmap plan across all countries in terms of acquisition and extension goals, plans and terms & conditions etc.
  • Lead, manage and execute together with the team hotel key account management growth strategy plans for DACH and other countries
  • Monitor competition, stay up to date with market development, hospitality industry trends and digital technology
  • In liaison with marketing and sales develop wellexecuted specific purchase campaigns (special offers) to grow sales across hotel segments order to stay ahead of the competition across hotel segments

  • Excellent purchase, key account management, communication, sales, negotiation and closing team management and leadership
  • Manage, lead, motivate develop and continuously improve the organisation's performance by existing and new bestknown tools and practices
  • Lead team sessions concerning country, hotel and team/individual performance review, forecast and plan ahead
  • Monitor performance of all commercial activities using KPI's and prepare, present executive reports to board of directors and top management

Requirements:


  • Proven work experience (min. +7 years of hotel commercial management leadership experience) as hotel director, OTA and or TO a must
  • Experience within International Hotel Hospitality/Tourist (multicultural) industry is a must have
  • High performance drive, strong and proven track record of delivering outstanding results (personal and team) in previous positions
  • Strong people management and exceptional sales/purchase and key account management skills
  • High competency and skill level in terms of analytical and numerical capabilities
  • Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing successful growth strategies
  • Excellence in sales/purchase and key account management strategy and developments
  • Must be fully native verbally and in writing in German and fully fluent in English
  • Eminent communication inquiry and advocacy presentation skills and strong interpersonal abilities
  • Outstanding analytical, innovative, creative, organisational, delivery, trouble shooting and management skills
  • Exemplary strategic mindset, commercial competencies, skills, hotel purchase, key account management and tradesmanship
  • Superior and sustainable track record in terms of continuous high performance and growth delivered by team and self
  • Distinguished understanding and knowledge of the hospitality industry technology in terms PMS, CM and CRM tools etc.
