    We are representing a Global Top-Tier Banking Group specialized in investment advisory and asset management for private and institutional clients and operating across 27 locations worldwide with a prominent presence in Switzerland.

    To sustain their growth, they are currently looking for a Risk Management Specialist in Basel who will be responsible for managing and controlling risks and regulatory requirements at the level of the fund management company and at the Swiss Fund level. The role will involve integrating the risk management perspective into the decision-making process.

    Tasks

    • Accountabilities
    • Maintenance and enhancement of the existing risk & control framework of the fund management company;
    • Monitoring and controlling risk profiles and regulatory requirements at different levels;
    • Supervision and oversight on outsourcing framework;
    • Preparation of regular and ad-hoc risk reports for various committees and boards;
    • Coordination of tasks related to PRIIP KID production process;
    • Supporting internal projects, process management, and fund product activities;
    • Conducting reviews and participating in risk management and fund-related activities.

    Requirements

    • Profile
    • 3+ years of professional experience in risk management in the financial industry;
    • University degree in business administration, economics or equivalent;
    • CFA, FRM or similar qualification in risk management is a plus;
    • Strong analytical skills and business acumen;
    • Ability to work autonomously and flexibly;
    • Team player with problem-solving skills;
    • Effective relationship management skills;
    • Proficiency in English and German. French knowledge is beneficial.
