Project background:


Job description:


The research tasks include:

data collection and analysis on European Union boundary rules and resources; quantitative studies of boundary change in the European Union; and comparative case studies of boundary reconfiguration in response to boundary shocks and crises.

The positions leave room for independent research in the thematic domain of the projects.


Your profile:


  • You have a master's degree (PhD positions) or a doctorate (Postdoc positions) in political science or a related discipline
  • A background in the study of the European Union, borders, and/or political development is an asset
  • During your studies/PhD research, you have acquired strong methodological skills (qualitative and/or quantitative)
  • You enjoy teamwork and scientific collaboration
  • In our international environment, you can easily communicate in English verbally and in writing
