For our Global Chain SupplyTeam, we are looking for an independent, knowledgeable, and high-reaching full-time
Warehouse Manager Global Travel Retail in the Netherlands.


ABOUT THE ROLE:


In this role you will
provide support to the Western Europe Warehouse & Logistics Director in the delivery of the Warehouse Strategy & operational plans, and
support Travel Retail markets, operations and projects within your defined area of responsibility.

Additionally, the position requires 'hands on'
operational management for GTR markets.

The position exists to manage the Warehouse operations within the markets ensuring:


  • maintenance of high standards according to Warehouse Excellence playbook to build operational excellence capabilities, while initiating and deploying improvements;

support of the End-to
  • End Global Supply Chain agenda and help to
    build a more resilient, efficient and connected organization by collaborating with the Warehouse community, sharing and implementing best practices and supporting global initiatives and projects, while remaining an integral part of the local Market organization and providing the necessary support.
-
compliance to corporate safety, quality, security & sustainability requirements, and to local legal & regulatory requirements;
-
efficient operation of warehouses in the group of markets (3rd party operated), partnering with logistics, trade and RTM teams.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Manage and coordinate the overall flow of goods, including receiving, storing, packing, and shipping, while adhering to quality and safety standards. Oversee inventory management, including tracking of stock levels, conducting of regular audits; contribute to optimizing inventory turnover.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize warehousing and logistics operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers.
  • Ensure compliance with local legal regulations regarding warehousing.
  • Manage 3PL provider teams. Maintain high standards according to Warehouse playbook in all aspects.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and distributors to establish strong relationships and ensure timely product availability.
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders within respective markets to ensure effective coordination and communication.
  • Analyze the required data, identify trends, and develop strategies to minimize costs, improve efficiency, and contribute to the enhancement of the supply chain performance.
  • Measure and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) of warehousing and logistics activities.
  • Continuously assess and implement best practices, technologies, and automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
  • Create, track and report annual ASP budgets with regular ME and OL.
  • Responsible for Health & Safety in his respective area
  • Take part in other projects related to WH excellence and E2E initiatives.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • University degree, preferably in Engineering / Supply Chain / Logistics
  • Minimum 5 years of supervising warehouse operations with continuous improvement projects or equivalent experience. Customer service and transportation experience is an advantage.
  • Fluent English, Dutch is a plus
  • Core WH management operations knowledge: inbound, put away, storage strategies, order preparation, orderpicking, stock accuracy, packing, outbound.
  • Vendor management, oversight of 3PL outsourced models
  • Operational excellence / loss elimination e.g. Lean, 6 sigma, IWS or similar
  • Leadership skills and people management experience applied in large & complex operations is an advantage
