    JOB PURPOSE

    HR Systems, Analytics, and Branding Senior Manager is responsible for the strategic oversight and operational management of HR technologies, analytics, and employee branding initiatives. The role requires leading the selection, implementation, and continuous improvement of key HR Systems, ensuring an enhancement of operational workflows and data management. Additionally, the position involves orchestrating analytics projects that aid strategic decision-making by developing and maintaining essential metrics and reports that provide insights into workforce planning and organizational performance. The role also entails developing and executing an employee branding strategy that aligns with the company's values, promoting a positive employer image both internally and externally, and empowering employees to act as brand ambassadors. This comprehensive responsibility aims to optimize HR functions and elevate the organization's brand presence in the industry, fostering a data-driven and user-focused approach to managing human resources.

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

    HR Systems:


    • Defines a strategy and oversees the selection, implementation, improvement, and maintenance of HR Systems in collaboration with the IT Corporate Team.


    • Consistently assesses the workflows of the systems and finds ways to enhance everyday processes.


    • Defines ways and, in collaboration with the IT Corporate Team, strategically crafts systems to allow for in-house data management, which is accessible to all users with ease.


    • Regularly collects feedback from shipboard and shoreside users on the current software processes and orchestrates needed upgrades or changes to the systems.

    HR Analytics:


    • Collaborates with the IT Corporate Team on the requirements to enable the production of comprehensive dashboards, reports, and other analytics-related tools.


    • In collaboration with the IT Corporate Team, leads the development and implementation of analytics projects that support strategic decision-making and improve organizational performance.


    • Directs the designs, developed by the IT Corporate Team, and maintenance of metrics, reports, and dashboards to provide insights into workforce demographics, recruitment effectiveness, turnover rates, and other critical HR metrics.


    • Promotes a data-driven culture within the HR Team and among senior management to enhance strategic initiatives and planning.


    • Crafts strategic direction of the methodologies used in HR analytics to keep up with industry trends.

    Employee Branding:


    • Leads the development and execution of an MSC Cruise Division Crew branding strategy that aligns with the brand's values and culture.


    • Leads Crew branding efforts through storytelling, showcasing Crew Members' successes and career development opportunities internally and externally.


    • Collaborates with marketing and communications teams to ensure consistency in Crew brand messaging across all platforms.


    • Implements programs that empower Crew Members of MSC Cruise Division to become brand ambassadors on social media and within their professional networks.


    • Monitors and analyzes the effectiveness of branding strategies in attracting and retaining talent.


    • Leads the Social Media Specialist in managing the social media presence of the brand as an employer.

    Collaboration and Communication:


    • Collaborates with the IT Corporate Team on project developments, design and implementation.


    • Collaborates with the marketing team on social media presence and MSC Cruise Division's Crew branding strategy.


    • Collaborates with Canvas/Regional leaders, BPDs, operational leaders, TA team and Scheduling HR Coordinators to understand long-term business goals and translate them into actionable, sustainable and effective plans.


    •Collaborates with department heads, managers, and other stakeholders to understand their employee engagement needs and challenges.


    • Communicates HR Systems & Employee Engagement plans and strategies to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

    Leadership:


    • Promotes a high-performance culture by cultivating and motivating direct/indirect reports through coaching, mentoring, and by providing regular meaningful feedback.


    • Develops HR through effective performance management and ongoing feedback.

    QUALIFICATIONS (skills, competencies, experience)

    Qualifications:


    • 10+ years experience within HR Department in cruise operations.


    • 2+ years of leadership experience.


    • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field.

    • Must be proactive, self-motivated, and work well under pressure.


    • Demonstrated ability to anticipate the needs of the employees and to maintain an upbeat, positive, and can-do attitude.


    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


    • The ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.


    • Demonstrated leadership cultivating and motivating teams of high-performing individuals, including effectively leading through managers of managers.


    • Strong computer and analytical skills.


    • Takes an active role in promoting a positive attitude toward culture, core values, compliance, and safety within the operations.

    EU Passport or Right to work in Switzerland.
