Driver (Hourly) - Start Date: April/ May 2024


Bijoux Catering is a young and dynamic company that adapts to the demands and expectations of a hugely diverse range of customers providing all the refinement of international cuisine.

Whether for private jets, commercial flights, private or corporate events, or business meals, Bijoux offers a range of tailor-made services for a specific and professional clientele.


We are looking for a Driver to deliver a wide variety of items by following delivery driving routes and time schedules.

The Driver should be responsible for loading, unloading, preparing, inspecting and operating the delivery vehicle.

The Driver has to distribute and source products promptly according to orders from the Supervisor. The Driver represents our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities:


  • Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
  • Follow routes and time schedule
  • Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
  • Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients' complaints
  • Collect payments
  • Inform customers about new products and services
  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
  • Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
  • Document and log work/rest periods and kilometres spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
  • Follow regulations, safety and security standards as applicable in die aiviation industry and required by the airport authority
  • Report defects, accidents or violations
  • Help to maintain a climate of smooth and friendly cooperation

Your Profile:

  • Proven working experience as a Driver
  • Valid professional driver's license
  • Ability to operate in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Good driving record with no traffic violations
  • Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations in the airport environment
  • Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (Traffic, weather conditions etc)
  • Valid truck driving licence
  • High school degree
  • Work efficiently under pressure
  • Teamwork

Requirements:


  • Profiles with a valid Swiss passport or Swiss work permit (B/C) will be only considered
  • Availability as of April/May 2024

Job Type:
Part-time


Pay:
From CHF21.00 per hour


Expected hours:
No less than 25 per week


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • 8152 Glattbrugg, ZH: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • High school or equivalent (required)

Experience:


  • Kitchen: 3 years (required)

Language:


  • English Fluently (required)
  • German Fluently (preferred)
