Job Brief:

The Driver delivers a wide variety of items following delivery driving routes and time schedules. The Driver is responsible for loading, unloading, preparing, inspecting and operating the delivery vehicle.

The Driver should distribute and source products promptly according to orders from the Supervisor. The Driver represents our company professionally and cost-effectively to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for vehicle checks and maintenance, ensuring it is safe and reliable to use
Following predetermined routes to transport goods or passengers to assigned locations
Traveling via the most efficient routes, unless otherwise directed.
Complying with road regulations at all times.
Assisting with the loading and unloading of goods, if applicable
Ensuring documents are signed upon delivery to confirm receipt of goods
Adhering to all driving laws and regulations
Keeping logs of activities, including mileage and fuel consumption
Communicating effectively with dispatchers and managing time efficiently to meet schedules
Assisting in resolving any issues that may arise during delivery
Ensuring that the automobile remains clean and wellmaintained
Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients' complaints
Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
Follow regulations, safety and security standards as applicable in die aviation industry and required by the airport authority
Report defects, accidents or violations
Help to maintain a climate of smooth and friendly cooperation

Your Profile:

Presentable and able to communicate with customers at all levels
Proven working experience as a Driver
Proven experience with shopping or at least to enjoy to do shopping
Valid Swiss professional driver's license (B)
English Language Skills (B1 Level) & German Language Skills (B1 Level)
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Good driving record with no traffic violations
Knowledge of driving rules and regulations in the airport environment would be an asset
Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (Traffic, weather conditions etc)
High school degree or above
Work efficiently under pressure
Teamwork and positive attitude
