For our client, a leisure company based in Zug, Switzerland, we are looking for a hands-on sales professional who will be a key player in growing the business.

Tasks

Reporting to the CEO and top management group, you will be responsible for the company's expansion strategy and execution.

  • Develop and lead the implementation and delivery of the market growth and hotel portfolio strategy
  • You will lead by example and work closely, handson, with your team to reach the targets set by you and management
  • Lead and build the sales, hotel product and purchase, key account management roadmap across all markets and countries
  • Set up and administer an annual market/country plan, including must win battles and budget in liaison with top management
  • Lead market/country sales growth by hotel purchase/key account management development for DACH and other countries
  • Measure markets and hotel ROI and KPIs and focus on continua's improvements by example as role model
  • Forecast sales and hotel performance trends and lead proactively to increase our market position and sales across markets and countries
  • Develop specific sales and purchase campaigns (special offers) to create, maintain and expand customer base across markets
  • Lead, manage and expand together with the team high potential and performing hotel partners across markets and countries
  • Plan, lead and execute own hotel purchase, key account management strategy for existing and new hotels
  • Lead and take part in together with the team to negotiate with media agencies, online partners, affiliates and secure "best in class" agreements
  • Monitor competition, conduct ongoing market research and implement strategies and tactics to be competitive in terms of price and content
  • Stay up to date with digital technology developments (Online Travel)
  • Advance team leadership, purchase, key account management, communication, sales, negotiation and closing competencies and skills
  • Manage, lead, motivate develop and refine the organisation's performance by existing and new bestknown practices
  • Lead team sessions concerning market, country, hotel and team/individual performance review, forecast and plan ahead
  • Monitor performance of all commercial activities using key metrics and prepare, present reports for top management

Requirements:

You can tune in with our hotel offer, target audience, culture and team and then develop and successfully execute the market expansion and hotel "game plan" that will maximize growth and return on investment and spend.

You will together with top management and the team keep the company at the forefront of new developments within the hotel holiday domain.

You can review new market trends, commercial developments, technologies and swiftly implement those to deliver the highest possible growth and ROI.


Experience that will support your success:

  • Proven work experience (min. +7 years of commercial management leadership experience) as in sales and sales management
  • High performance drive, mentality, strong and proven track record of outstanding results (personal and team) delivered in previous positions
  • Strong people management and exceptional sales/purchase and key account management skills
  • Must be fully fluent verbally and in writing in German and English
  • High level in terms of analytical and numerical capabilities
  • Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing successful growth strategies
  • Excellence in sales/purchase and key account management strategy and developments
  • Eminent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Outstanding commercial competencies, skills and strategic mindset
