What's the role?:

As a Global Segment Manager, you will play a key role and lead the global Mining business for Hilti.

You will be part of the global Energy & Industry team and be responsible for the development of our market reach and product offering, as well as and the growth of the business.

You will work with the market and global teams to ensure best levels of account engagement and project execution.

What does the role involve?:

In this role you will have global impact in driving and implement the execution of the Mining strategy in define regions, you are considered the business owner of your segment.

You will work closely with local and regional market organizations to define business opportunities and prioritize according to the global strategy You will drive Account Engagement, and steering the Global/Regional business developers, ensuring projects execution.

You will lead the implementation in key markets with regional segments and sales teams and drive innovation with clear understanding of the customers' needs and value proposition of the Hilti solutions for the Mining industry.

What you need is:

University degree in engineering (e.g., Mechanical or Electrical or Industrial Engineering or Mining Degree), MBA is a plus.
Proven experience in the Mining Industry, ideally in Sales & Marketing, Design & Engineering, Project Management
Strong business acumen and customer orientation
Strong team collaboration capability and ability to work within a matrix organization.
Willingness to travel internationally for business and international mobility in the long term is preferable
Excellent communication and influencing skills.
Fluency in English (knowledge of Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus)
