What's the role?:

In the Group accounting & Consolidation department various interesting and educational tasks are waiting for you.

We are among others responsible for preparing the yearly Financial Report but also the sparring partners for the management by linking business decisions to accounting processes and facilitating new IFRS requirements.

Overall, learn about financial processes relevant for large international companies.

As part of the Group Accounting & Consolidation team, you will support the team in the month and year end closing process, while ensuring compliance with our Internal Control System.

You will be involved in the preparation of a wide range of financial analysis and reports for the management and get an understanding of the IFRS standards relevant to the Hilti environment.

Start date is flexible, for minimum 6-9 months

What does the role involve?:

As an intern in our department, you will support our team in:

month and year end closing tasks for group accounting in close cooperation with local entities

- preparing the Financial Report (if you stay during year-end closing)
- adopting IFRS standards to Hilti environment also covering implementation, external audit requirements and stakeholder management
- developing a wide range of financial analysis and reports focused on business and accounting results and ensure compliant and consistent financial reporting
- global accounting projects for the group, covering interfaces to IT systems, stakeholder management, training concepts (e

g, current project:
report harmonization)

What you need is:

Master or Bachelor student in business administration and/or finance
Fluency in English / German is a plus
Basic knowledge of IFRS and accounting/consolidation
Effective communication skills
Good problemsolving skills
Interest for consolidation and IFRS topics
