Channel Development & Shopper Marketing Manager

Job responsibilities:
Responsible for delivering channel development playbooks for Discounter channel and shopper marketing toolkits while working closely with EH franchise.

  • Works on delivering Discounter Channel Playbooks covering:
  • Channel Path to purchase
  • Channel Layouts and Classifications
  • Channel Touchpoints and POSM Optimization
  • Brand Prioritization by Channel
  • MSL alignment with RGM team by channel
  • Channel GP and portfolio laddering per channel
  • Perfect Store guidelines by channel
  • Delivering Shopper Toolkits & instore toolkits on specific launches as part of the launch kit to relevant portfolios in Discounter channel.
  • Work closely with BTL agencies to develop launch kits, support the launch of NPI's etc
  • Deliver & develop Perfect Store guidelines for the respective category, from ranging recommendation, driving the right high GP mix of codes, planograming & merchandising guidelines
  • Working closely with country directors & business insights team to monitor distribution & define distribution targets for existent ranges and NPI's
  • Sustainability Toolkits by channel and relevant categories that operates within
In terms of other forums that the channel development director is responsible to drive:

Channel Review:

  • Building a channel community for sharing best practices and scales success
  • Tracking the execution of the playbook and leverage and highlight markets leading change
  • Building shopper insights with key customers in respective channels in EMEA
  • Leverage the shopper Lab insights and share with markets
Instore Innovation and Best Practice Forum

  • Creating a process of having a launch kit with every innovation way ahead of the launch in markets and sharing the pipe of those toolkits with countries
  • Building trade stories that allow the countries to have a better customer plan by explaining how this will impact category growth

CD department / Country Directors/ BAM's / Franchise team / IT & Supply chain department / Customer data/ external providers

Qualifications:


Main performance measures:

  • Strong influencing skills
  • A selfstarter with the demonstrated ability to take initiative, who can proactively identify issues/opportunities and recommend actions
  • Very strong shopper and channel expertise. Sales and marketing background is aplus
Profile

University degree in Business administration or respective studies-To understand the full scope of the business & its impacts.

Work experience
Experience from a multi-national or regional company in preferably FMCG, finance or complimentary sector
To understand the customer needs & issues and to set the right drivers in place.
Specific competence requirements
Skilled in Word, Excel and Power Point
Provide presentation & reporting on category & shopper initiatives.
Personal characteristics

Provide category analysis with conclusions & action steps.
Team player & demonstrate leadership
Work in a collaborative way with both internal & external Customer teams
Strong written and oral communication skills and presentation skills
