Director of Operations based in Oberdorf

Overview
Responsible for the day to day management of the plant, ensuring safe, efficient and profitable operations.


Further responsibilities and duties are

  • Responsible and management of all Operations team activities.
  • Responsible for preparation and managing budget of plant.
  • Manage statutory obligations of the plant safety, environmental, employment etc.
  • Manage achievement of plant objectives and Key Performance Indicators.
  • Manage, motivate, and develop plant personnel, including recruitment, training, discipline, goal setting, career and personal development.
  • Manage plant quality and environmental systems.
  • Coordinate plant activities on New Product Introduction and Projects, Communication with all relevant parties.
  • Responsibility of serving the Customer Needs for products.
  • Supervise effective plant administration including plant controls, stocks, purchases, plant reporting.
  • Ensure full implementation and conformance with the Company's code of conduct, policies, mission and values, at plant level.

Qualifications:


  • University
  • Bachelor Degree or Equivalent, preferably in Mechanics, Engineering or Manufacturing
  • 810 years' work experience in industrial environment, such as manufacturing and / or assembly
  • Engineering Experience, Experience in introduction processes of new products
  • Experience in developing distribution concepts and building of distribution networks
  • Knowledge of appropriate procedures for planning and optimizing logístical processes
  • Knowledge and use of Lean Management
  • Ability to work autonomously within the greater business team
  • Ability to work with colleagues on all levels of the organization
