Beschreibung

We are looking for an experienced business analyst/technologist with an understanding of mining assets/fixed asset/processing plants business processes and technologies to join our Corporate Business transformation and Technology Team at our headquarters in Baar/ Switzerland or based at one of our local geographies with large group of operating assets.

You will be working in a highly dynamic, diverse, and fast paced international environment with the opportunity to help shape the future of our operational processing assets technologies.


The role:
Work with industrial sites to facilitate, assist and drive excellence through the following activities:

  • Conduct research, assist with a structured process for assessment and selection of Vendors & technology solutions
  • Identify gaps in maturity, value add propositions & initiatives and encourage sites to achieve/improve their digital transformation where applicable
  • Develop and assist in the business case creation and socialise with senior site/BU/Corp management
  • Assist/oversee in solution design / blueprint workshops ensuring initial goals proposed in the initiative/business case are reached
  • During execution provide oversight of project management by presiding over steering committees/operational committee's and liaising with senior stakeholder to secure intended value and prevent leakage
  • Manage commercial relationships with Group designated Vendors including contractual negotiations, legal, escalation etc. ensuring value and synergies for Group.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and leading practice adoption across sites

Minimum requirements:

  • At least 1015 years of experience working with financial / operational mining / outbound logistics business processes.
  • Strong background and experience in managing largescale multiregional (software / hardware implementation) projects across a variety of disciplines within mining.
  • Strong background in Data analytics and general Technologies in mining,
  • Good understanding of process engineering, Operational data technology such as data historians/time series database architecture, MES's, process digital twins.
  • Good understanding of Met Accounting and familiarity with carbon reporting and GHG LCA's.
  • Good understanding of data warehouse architecture & reporting concepts and can create and understand management reports/dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau etc).
  • Good understanding of IOT technology and its applicability in a mining context
  • Familiar with process excellence / continuous imporvement methodologies such as LEAN.
  • Familiar with Data science, AI, neural networks and Machine Learning concepts.
  • Decent level of MS Office suite of tools, specifically excel & PowerPoint
