In this role, you will define, implement and coordinate all internal communications activities across Europe and will be involved in all external MEU comms activities in close alignment with the Global CGA team and with all CGA teams across MEU.

You will work very closely with the whole MEU LT and with the business.

You are a comms "business advisor" who manages across internal and/or external comms, including crisis and issues communications using integrated communications to promote and protect Mondelēz's International reputation.


How you will contribute


You will drive the internal communications strategy and activities including internal engagement and alignment and will be involved in all external media relations, and partner with business unit leaders to support internal and external communications.

In addition, you may be responsible for promoting leadership categories through effective external media engagement (including social media management), risk and issues management, best practice engagement systems and empowerment of team members.


You will develop and implement structured and comprehensive communication plans to enable the company to meet business objectives and to level the playing field in the industry, implement a local community engagement strategy aligned to global Mondelēz International philanthropic efforts, and ensure activities are delivered within budget.


Additionally you will:

  • Build fully integrated comms plans to support business agenda while preserving corporate reputation
  • Support Senior Leader, including MEU LT members and MEU Lead, in all internal and external comms activities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives in alignment with Vision 2030
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure brand guidelines are followed in all communication materials
  • Monitor and manage the company's reputation and perception across European markets, addressing any potential issues proactively
  • Oversee the creation of highquality content for various communication platforms, including press releases, articles, blog posts, social media content, and more
  • Develop crisis communication plans to effectively manage and mitigate potential communication crises

What you will bring
A desire to lead the future for our company and accelerate you career with experience and knowledge in:

  • Holding a similar position in a fast-moving consumer goods environment in communications, government or corporate affairs
  • Working confidently with the most senior stakeholders in the company
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
  • Proven experience of 7+ years in communications, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role
  • Strong understanding of European markets, cultures, and communication trends
  • Native level written and verbal communication skills in English; additional European languages are a plus
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing communication strategies that support business objectives
  • Some experience with media outreach and crisis communication.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving capabilities, with a datadriven approach to decisionmaking
