Position Summary


The Senior Manager, Supply Chain Planning Excellence supports our mission by joining a global team with responsibilities for the definition and continuous improvement of the Global Supply Chain Planning processes as well as for the development of digital road maps to support the continued evolution of the organization.


Role and Responsibilities:

Support the broader Process & Digital Supply Planning Excellence by:

  • Preparing Project Charters, tracking and reporting project evolution, ensuring actions are closed as needed.
  • Monitoring and reporting discrepancies between the master data in our planning systems and Planning Master Data Standards. Ensuring actions are taken by the appropriate function to close gaps.
  • Partnering with supply chain planners and other stakeholders to understand and agree on process improvement opportunities and prioritization.
  • Improving the process, defining roles and responsibilities, and establishing controls for tracking process adherence.
  • Assisting with change management to align stakeholders to process and responsibility changes.
  • Updating relevant process maps and documentation, maintaining training curricula.
  • Responding to inquiries and ad hoc requests from team members, supply planning teams and other supply chain stakeholders for assistance in executing Planning processes or analyses.

Required Competencies

  • Demonstrated understanding of the endtoend supply chain, supply planning and manufacturing operations.
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts and recommendations in a clear and understandable way to leadership.
  • An ability to cultivate and maintain professional and collaborative relationships with both team members and colleagues across the corporate enterprise based on credibility, respect, and meeting commitments.
  • Experience where critical thinking and problemsolving skills were critical to success.
  • A proven selfstarter able to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic, crossfunctional teambased environment.
  • Prior evidence working in a matrixed organization.

Required Qualifications and Desired Experience

Education:


  • Undergraduate B.S. Degree or equivalent, preferably in Supply Chain Management.

Experience:


  • 7+ years of relevant cGMP experience. Experience in FDA/EMA regulation in the biotechnology and/or cellular therapy field is preferred. 3+ years of supply planning experience, preferably in a global pharmaceutical or biotechnology company.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the endtoend supply chain, supply planning and manufacturing operations.
  • Experience with site supply chain and CMO Planning (Contract Manufacturing Operations) highly desired.
  • Demonstrated advanced Excel skills along with the ability to effectively use MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
