    Serving as the key partner for the Business Unit Manager of B&R Switzerland, you will be a vital member of the management team. You will help to set business strategy in line with wider division and product group strategies. In this role you will provide key support to the business, ensuring accurate tracking and processing of all transactions. You will translate business strategy into plans and establish measurable targets, evaluate the financial implications of various strategic decisions, identify risks and recommend actions. Additionally, you will oversee HR's impact on our business by collaborating with leaders to grasp business needs and strategies. Your role as an HR Business Partner involves translating business objectives into HR initiatives and executing them effectively with the support of our Centers of Expertise and global services.

    Your responsibilities

    • Overseeing the business planning and forecasting process for B&R Switzerland and serving as the interface with HQ in Austria and ABB.
    • Ensuring compliance with internal guidelines/procedures and external regulatory requirements.
    • Performing financial analysis, reporting to business managers and making suggestions to improve performance, where appropriate.
    • Establishing and overseeing processes and tools to obtain transparent and reliable financial data and business information.
    • Implementing strategy and plans related to organization restructuring, optimal utilization, redeployment and best allocation of people resources.

    Your background

    • Minimum of five years of experience in a comparable role.
    • A bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or comparable further training.
    • Experience with computerized accounting systems and financial reporting software, including SAP.
    • Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to multitask.
    • Confident with balance sheets and proven practice in accounting.
    • Good Excel skills and IT user knowledge.
    • A solution-focused, collaborative approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
    • Fluent in German, written and spoken English.
