Tijana Wekker

Just an enthusiastic hybrid with a fervour for XR and R&D from a UX point of view. 

Manifested creativity. Innovative approaches. User-centered prototyping.

Since childhood, I have been passionate about creativity, no matter what form or type. After a satisfying life in design departments, I wanted to experience more ways to fully express my visions. Exploring my limits in creativity is the reason why I pursued further education in IT. 

I am majoring in computer science and am in the process of preparing my knowledge and aspiration for my undergraduate thesis in collaboration with Microsoft in 2023. 

Having a background in design, I continued my education diversly and established myself as a strong hybrid. With further training in coding, I combine UX, design and computer science, which allows me to back up many projects as a steer pillar, to consolidate the specialists in their work. 

My expertise lies in UX, where I focus on accessibility and a proper Information Architecture which are essential pain points to enable an overall inclusion and equal accessible system. My current goal is to enable these standards into XR, therefore I'm working on my game engineering and wearable project skills.

After my attendance at Seoul National University (SNU) for an exchange, I was able to join the Human-centered Computer Systems Lab and co-author a research paper (which is currently being peer-reviewed).

While I am in the preparation process of my undergraduate thesis in collaboration with Microsoft, I continued working on my profile as a UX trainee during my studies. 

I worked several years in the marketing industry, transitioned through Front-End/UX into computer science and am currently focusing on XR and UX combined.
