Über Antonino Ferraro:
I have a master's degree in chemistry from the University of Bologna. After graduation, I remained at the university to work on two scholarship projects with the aim of using a biopolymer for the production of nanoparticles useful for nanomedicine applications. After the scholarship I started working as a product developer and particle engineer with the goal of developing biopolymeric microparticles for various applications.
I started to work with the spray drier technic on a laboratory scale and after the successfully development of the product I started to follow the production scale-up on a pilot plant, managing the production and the relative QC.
Until last month, I worked as an R&D Specialist at ProfiMed Srl, a European leader in dental floss production for third parties. My role involved development of new products from internal sample production to industrialization, managing external collaborations, and exploring new technologies. Currently, I am not employed, I decided to move in Basel at the begin of this month to get closer to my family and I really would like to exploit this moment to seek new opportunities for my professional career.
