Stadler Signalling is the center of competence for Signalling technology and digitalization in the Stadler Group with multiple sites in Switzerland and Germany.

Our highly qualified teams work in the area of automated train operation (ATO), train control system (ETCS) and driverless metro trains (CBTC) and electronical interlocking (ESTW) to develop our solutions further.

HOW YOU CAN MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Be an inspirational leader to create a new team with new process and a new organisational unit with the people you select.
  • Ability to carve out an organisation from a business case to a running unit.
  • Creation of project timeline including project milestones and responsible for their delivery
  • Project management and business skills to address all stakeholders involved.
  • Responsible for the coordination with all stakeholders (customers, suppliers, internal multicountry teams, purchasing)
  • Independent leadership of building up a new business stream as an entrepreneur within the company
  • Management & reporting of the project commercial and technical status, as well as risks

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Project Management or Service Management, at least a few years managing complex systems projects in the railway sector (ideally ETCS systems)
  • Strong negotiator for related tasks with customers & suppliers
  • Team player with high degree of social competence, sense of responsibility, assertiveness and problemsolving abilities
  • Knowledge of ETCS standards and railway industry experience are a great advantage
  • Contract and claims management experience
  • Sales and / or sales support skills are big advantage
  • German, English language and possibly Italian as big advantage
