- Exploration of material flow dynamics and identification of reuse opportunities in different geographical contexts, employing computer vision techniques and data analysis.
- Engagement and collaboration with stakeholders such as government entities, NGOs, consultants, and industry partners to promote the adoption of the developed tools and strategies.
- Validation and testing of the developed algorithms and tools in pilot projects to assess their effectiveness and impact.
- Active participation in research activities, including publishing scientific papers and presenting findings at conferences and workshops.
- Supervision of PhD, Master, and/or Bachelor students.
- Teaching computer vision for construction.
- Hold a PhD in computer science, computer vision, or a related field.
- Possess strong research skills with a demonstrated understanding of circular economy practices in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in data analysis and database management, with the ability to handle large datasets and derive meaningful insights.
- Knowledge and experience in computer vision techniques, including image processing, object recognition, and machine learning algorithms.
