Plan and lead initiatives to build up internal communication platforms and develop & maintain relationships with external stakeholders to support the company's strategic goals and priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop the country PR/PA campaigns based on the strategy (e.g. Heart valve disease day)
Develop and execute the internal communication plan
Plan and undertake networking and lobbying activities in order to implement the Public Affairs strategy (e.g. KOL, patient groups, hospital PR teams,...)
Provide direction and guidance to project teams to execute tactical projects and/or initiatives including PR/PA/Designrelated agencies
Develop the content of patient websites
Contribute to the EMEA Communications and Public Affairs strategy along with the team
Develop and manage relations with key cardiology, medical and health journalists across relevant regions (e.g. during press events)
Manage the writing and approval of press releases, media backgrounders, public affairs briefings, Q&A documents etc.
Other incidental duties

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in in related field, 10 years years experience of previous related experience Required or
Master's Degree or equivalent in in related field, 8 years years experience of previous related experience Required and
Proven track record running successful PR/PA campaigns Required and
Experience working in a PR/PA professional environment Required

Additional Skills:

Proven successful project management skills
Proven expertise in both Microsoft Office Suite and communication systems and tools (Acrobat, photo editing tools)
Excellent writing and communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives
Fluent in English required; other European language preferred.
Recognized as an expert in own area within the organization while contributing to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards
Expert understanding of related aspects of communications processes
Understanding of Edwards business, policies, current practice in communications
Expertise in communication tools (MS office, Acrobat, photo editing tools)
Ability to run complex media projects and communication campaigns
Recognized as an expert in own area within the organization while contributing to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards
Expert understanding of related aspects of communications processes
Understanding of Edwards business, policies, current practice in communications
