We are looking for a
Laboratory Assistant R&D (M/F/d)** for our location in Faellanden (Switzerland).

Aufgaben/Verantwortlichkeiten:

Operation and development of laboratory setups to test magnet coils and to qualify superconducting wires and other materials in cryogenic environment, including analysis, documentation, and presentation of the results.
Independently plan, organize, and run laboratory experiments in cryogenic environment, according to the requirements discussed with the project leaders.
Routine maintenance and operation of cryogenic test facilities along with the required equipment normally present in laboratories (e.g. vacuum pumps, high current power supplies, cryostats, etc.).
Part of the tasks also includes handling of devices and substances with chemical and electrical hazards, complying with the quality and safety goals of Bruker.

Qualifikationen:

Completed training as laboratory technician (or comparable relevant experience or university degree) in the field of cryogenics and superconductivity
Basic knowledge and experience with LabView and/or Python programming is a plus. Willing to further develop these skills on the job.
Basic knowledge of electronic circuits and inorganic chemistry
Good experience in the field of vacuum technology and cryogenics is an advantage
Pragmatic and efficient way of working
Willing to work conscientiously, independently and as a part of a team.
Good knowledge of MS Office
Good knowledge of German and English languages
