For our client, a leisure company based in Zug, Switzerland, we are looking for a hands-on, Commercial Manager who will be a key player in growing the business.

Tasks

  • You will in liaison with the market manager and management group be responsible for Denmark's and other countries' expansion strategy and execution
  • Developing annual market/country plan, including must win battles and budget in liaison with market manager
  • Develop and lead the implementation and delivery of growth hotel portfolio strategy
  • Lead and build the sales, hotel product and purchase, key account management roadmap
  • Plan, lead and execute own hotel purchase, key account management strategy for existing and new hotels
  • Lead, manage and expand together with the team high potential and performing hotel partners
  • Develop specific sales and purchase campaigns (special offers) to create, maintain and expand hotel offerings
  • Lead, plan and execute hotel purchase field or office based "hunting" activities
  • Lead self and take part in together with the team to qualify, negotiate close top deals with existing and new hotels
  • Forecast sales and hotel performance and proactively lead by hotel key account management development to increase sales
  • Measure market and hotel ROI and KPIs and focus on continuas improvements by example as role model
  • Monitor competition and implement strategies and tactics to be competitive in terms of price and content
  • Advance team leadership, purchase, key account management, communication, sales, negotiation and closing competencies and skills

Requirements:

You are a high performer, results driven person, high excellence in sales/purchase and team development.

You can tune in with our hotel offer, target audience, culture and team and then develop and successfully execute the market expansion and hotel "game plan" that will maximize growth and return on investment and spend.

You will together with the team keep the company at the forefront of new developments within the hotel holiday domain.

It is your skill, passion, and determination self and lead the team to deliver outstanding results.

You can review new market trends, commercial developments, technologies and swiftly implement those to deliver the highest possible growth and ROI.


Experience that will support your success:

  • Proven work experience (min. +4 years of commercial leadership experience) as Sales Manager from the tourism/hospitality industry (essential)
  • High performance drive, mentality strong and proven track record of outstanding results delivered in previous positions
  • Strong leadership and sales/purchase/key account management skills
  • Must be fully fluent verbally and in writing in Danish and/or Swedish and/or Norwegian and English.
  • High level in terms of analytical and numerical capabilities
  • Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing successful growth strategies
  • Excellence in sales/purchase and key account management strategy and developments
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Superior commercial competencies, skills and strategic mindset
  • Great, sustainable and continuous growth performance delivered individually and via team
