For our Swiss Entity in Dagmersellen, we are looking for a motivated, team-oriented and proactive individual for the permanent position as


Key Account Manager (M/F/d)


In this role, you will report to the National Key Account Manager and be the first point of contact for their assigned customers (Key Accounts).

For these accounts, you will negotiate, manage and execute all relevant activities (promotions, merchandising, distribution, budget and annual plans) to support JTI's business objectives.

You will build strong trade relationships and drive the implementation of new products & initiatives. You will show a proactive attitude by proposing new opportunities, programs and initiatives in order to realize untapped potential. You will closely collaborate with and challenge other functions to impact customer performance.


Your responsibilities:


  • You will conduct negotiations by realizing trade terms and conditions, portfolio, distribution and visibility programs with key accounts
  • You will be responsible for the effective implementation of sales, distribution and merchandising activities in assigned key accounts
  • You will manage stock levels on base and promotional SKUs to secure optimal product availability and to maximize account performance
  • You will plan optimal customerrelated activity budgets, monitor compliance, and regularly conduct field visits to understand market & trade dynamics
  • You will develop strong customer plans to strengthen the business by participating actively in cycle plan preparations ensuring Marketing & Sales initiatives can be implemented with excellence
  • You will ensure best communication flow between Field Force, Marketing and Customer Service and build strong internal relationships with Marketing & Sales and other key functions such as Finance & Legal
  • You will Identify new account opportunities by proposing concepts, initiatives and special projects that maximize sales
  • You will develop strong customer relationships by analyzing & monitoring consumer, trade & account data maximizing customer satisfaction
  • You will entertain and organize events that foster close relations with customers

Your Profile, Qualifications and Experience:


  • A business degree or equivalent degree in salesrelated fields
  • Proven Key Account Management experience in FMCG
  • Substantial knowledge & understanding of the Swiss trade environment
  • A proactive attitude for constant improvement, and a drive to go the extra mile to make things happen
  • High level of analytical skills & commercial thinking with good communication and presentation skills (ability to present plans compellingly to your customers)
  • A proven team player with strong communication and negotiation skills, able to build successful and close trade relationships
  • Thorough knowledge of MS Office/Excel/Power BI
  • A strong command of written and spoken English, French and German
