We are looking for a Global Expert for Tap Changers and Measuring/ Safety Devices to join our global Transformers Team.

In this position you are responsible for driving sustainable and transformational change across multiple Transformer Components Factories, focused on safety, quality and process improvement of the Tap Changers, Digital and Conventional devices processes.

As this position can be fulfilled completely remotely, we are prioritizing skills and experience over physical work location.

Your responsibilities- Act as the global process expert in Tap Changers, Digital and Conventional devices manufacturing related to process, method and equipment in the entire Transformer Components business and product scope. Scope of activities to cover process expert support, improvements of the manufacturing process, support for equipment purchase, upgrades, equipment relocations. Support factories in emergency equipment/process issues and in deploying standard and platform approach. Drive standardization of process and equipment in own manufacturing area. Develop standard equipment requirements, linked with process performance and critical to quality characteristics. Develop and update documentations such as Production Standards, Quality Inspection Cards, User Manuals and Training & Certificate material related to the related processes employed in PGTR Components factories. Optimize / improve the manufacturing operations maximizing the asset utilization, at lowest cost, while making sure that the quality standards and customer requirements are met. Develop partnerships with global suppliers for manufacturing equipment, in cooperation with respective category manager and SQ manager. Support digitatization and automation in the related production sites.
Your background- You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in science. You bring at least 5 years of experience from operations from a relevant industry. You have background of working in the field of tap changers, measuring & safety devices or related processes. You have strong analytical and systemic problem-solving skills with clear passion to develop and change self and others. You are fluent in English (written and spoken) combined with excellent communication skills. You have already gained experience in international companies and working with different countries and cultures.
