With a privileged location on the shores of Lake Geneva and a breathtaking view of the famous jet d'eau and Mont Blanc, the Hotel d'Angleterre elegantly combines British charm with legendary Swiss hospitality.

An ideal blend of understated sophistication with a passion for service, this boutique hotel offers guests 45 uniquely decorated rooms and suites, all with exquisite artwork and furnishings.

Inviting guests to enjoy delicious international cuisine in the Windows Restaurant, as well as cocktails at our famous Leopard Bar and Cigar Lounge.

You will organize and arrange all logístical aspects of groups and events, from planning, BEO preparation to onsite execution.

You will act as the primary point of contact for our groups and events clients through the event planning process and the onsite guest experience.

A high level of guest service is expected while customizing is also key. Organize all event logistics for internal.

Assistant
Manager.

Responsibilities:


  • Plan, organise and ensure the smooth operation of meetings and events
  • Coordinate contracts, room blocks, food and beverage, A/V, and general logistics
  • Grow repeat business, seek cross selling opportunities within the hotel and Red Carnation Collection worldwide properties
  • Maintain strong relationships with guests, both internal and external
  • Ensuring excellence customer service and quality delivery according to our standards
  • Manage groups and events negotiations to maximise results
  • Organize the hotel's visit and attend the unexpected requests
  • Make sure that all requests are answered in 24 hours
  • Uphold a professional grooming

Basic Qualifications**:


  • Minimum of 2 years' experience within the event department
  • Fluent in French and in English, oral and written expression. Mastering a third foreign language is highly desirable
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Flexibility in working schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Knowledge of food & beverage

Required Education**:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
