We are looking for
:

...a highly motivated
Research Associate to join our
Research department.

Your tasks:

Antimicrobial susceptibility testing of new compounds
Resistance development and timekill studies
Maintenance of strain collection
Development and implementation of bacterial whole cell assays
Fluorescenceactivated cell sorting (FACS) and microscopy phenotyping
Computerassisted data analysis
Documentation of results in electronic lab notebook, databases and reports
Contribution to the maintenance and running of the microbiology Lab
Presentation of results

Your profile:

MSc in microbiology or equivalent technician training (e.g. apprenticeship)
Minimum of 3 years' experience in research in a microbiology lab in the pharmaceutical industry
Extensive expertise in microbiological techniques
Experience with biochemical techniques and FACS would be an asset
Experience in working in a BL2 environment is a must
Team oriented, independent way of working
Wellorganized and structured with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize and stay focused even when handling different projects
Good communication skills in English, German would be beneficial, presentation skills
