Your role

Are you an enthusiastic team player looking to have an impact in Group Compliance, Regulatory & Governance (GCRG) COO? Are you passionate about protecting our firm against emerging risk and are you a constructive challenger? We're looking for someone just like you to join our team.
Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
leading a small team covering risk reporting and MI for GCRG COO senior management

- staying ahead of emerging risks by proactively identifying and managing them and assisting in the remediation of known risks
- acting as a central point of contact for the GCRG COO senior management on all risk-related topics
- being responsible for compiling risk reports and designing and implementing efficient processes to support risk management within our area
- collaborating with teams and stakeholders across the globe to ensure timely resolution across the risk portfolio, as well as coordinating high quality delivery of risk items and supporting the business divisions
- strategic leadership of risk topics, assessment of emerging risks i.e. market events etc.
- managing aspects of the integration from a risk perspective and liaising with the central team i.e. issues, controls, policies
- ad hoc risk and business management tasks to support the broader aims of the Risk Management + Remediation Group and GCRG COO

You'll be reporting to the GCRG Head of Risk Management & Remediation and working in an international and diverse team. It's your mission to enable the GCRG COO area performing their risk management and control duties efficiently and effectively along our strategic priorities. You'll be working closely with the GCRG management team supporting them proactively in riskrelated matters.

Your expertise
- multiple years of experience working in audit or compliance as a business risk specialist or in a similar role, ideally with a strong background in risk remediation
- strong analytical and conceptual skills combined with a strategic mindset
- proactive, self-driven and flexible personality with ability to deliver independently and timely on multiple tasks effectively collaborate and communicate with team members and across different functions, building credibility and trust
- curious and challenging the status quo, combined with the ability to identify risks and control gaps to lead and enable the development of robust solutions
- always looking to remove barriers and make the way we work more efficient and effective
