SCHURTER is looking for a new team member of his leadership team in EMEA with customer focus.In this role you will set the direction for the R&D Team and make sure they deliver the innovation goals together with the business team.
As part of the leadership team we offer you different development opportunities.Your challenges- Lead and oversee operations across EMEA (manufacturing, supply chain and procurement) Set short and long-term goals/directions and support the global strategy Implement strategic initiatives (process optimization, operational efficiency & cost reduction) Manage optimization projects, coordinating activities across multiple locations Develop and execute operational strategies to meet or exceed performance targets and KPIs Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration within the operations team Build and maintain strong relationships with all internal/external stakeholders Provide leadership, guidance, and support to teams across multiple locations, driving engagement and accountability. Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements to inform operational decision-making. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards Travel within Europe as required, approximately 50% or more mostly during work weeks.
Your qualifications- University degree in mechanical and/or electromechanical engineering Broad experience of in manufacturing, supply chain management, component procurement Senior leadership role in a similar function with intercultural competence Demonstrated ability to develop and execute operational strategies Analytical and problem-solving abilities Hands-on mentality with data-driven decision making In-depth expertise in product technology and process technology Excellent communication with ability to influence and inspire teams on all levels Independent working ability with strong ownership to deliver results Proven track record of managing complex projects and cross-functional collaboration Willingness to travel extensively in Europe Fluent in English, with basic proficiency in German or French preferredYour benefits- Strong brand with further growth potential Success orientated, advanced company culture Modern and international industrial company with attractive working conditions Opportunity for active participationSCHURTER is a worldwide leading company as innovator and producer of passive and active electronic components ensuring the clean and safe supply of power and ease of use of equipment.
