Role & responsibilities

Provide technical leadership to other local developers and collaborate with global peers and stakeholders.

Provide software support for monitoring infrastructure, including installation, maintenance, documentation, customization, and utilization of product features in monitoring and observability space such as Zabbix, Datadog, OpenSearch, etc.

Write and modify system software routines and programs including integrations and UI features as needed.

Prepare and conduct system and programming tests that require interfacing of hardware and software.

Diagnose and resolve user and operational problems with software and hardware.

Develop and review procedures to ensure the security and integrity of all systems and data.

Architect system automation for consistent and reliable deployment of complex system software and hardware.

Consults with users and system administrators pertaining to system design, programming, and administration issues.

Provides operational support required to understand how the tools work and to identify opportunities for automation.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of programming languages (Python, Shell Scripting), frameworks such as Django, utilities, services, and editors for Linux and Windows

Experience with integrations, building dashboards and developing automation for monitoring and observability tools such as Zabbix, Datadog, Grafana.

Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, and cloud infrastructure (Azure).

Aptitude for visualization of solutions for complex problems.

Ability to script or write software programs that acknowledge the peculiarities of the underlying machine architecture.

Understand the interdependencies between multiple systems and software within computing infrastructure.

Prior experience of leading a team of 2-3 developers/DevOps individuals will be added advantage.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
